With an outstanding background as an academic scholar and a sport psychology consultant, Dr. Asaf Blatt brings both his passion and expertise to maximize your achievements!
Dr. Blatt obtained his doctoral degree in sport and exercise psychology from Florida State University, USA, and received a master's degree in social psychology from IDC Herzliya (Cum Ladue), Israel
Driven by a scientist-practitioner approach, Dr. Blatt conducts research alongside providing mental performance services to professional teams and athletes.
Dr. Blatt lectures at the M.A. sport psychology program at the College of Academic Management studies, international academic conferences, and well-known global sport and business organizations.
Applied Work
During his residence in the USA, Dr. Blatt provided sport psychology services to high-schools & NCAA Division I teams and athletes. Following his return to Israel in the Summer of 2020, Dr. Blatt began working with elite athletes and professional sport clubs.
Together with graduate degrees in social and sport psychology, and team-oriented research avenues, Dr. Blatt developed an innovative program to boost team coordination and performance. The program includes advanced team assessments and psychological group interventions.
Dr. Blatt helps individual athletes with various topics, such as managing stress, adjusting coping-skills, optimizing mental preparation, analyzing competitions, sustaining motivation in sport, and more.
Dr. Blatt tends to work from an eclectic perspective that integrates Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Psychological Skills Training (PST).
